Many companies have a pre-existing Contacts List - generated and stored - such as a QuickBooks list of Customers. Such lists can be exported from programs like QuickBooks (as a .CSV file) and then imported into the Super Dispatch dashboard by clicking Import Contacts button.
Files in the CSV format were designed to be easily imported to and from programs that store data in tables; CSV stands for "comma-separated-values."
It is very IMPORTANT TO NOTE that when importing a CSV file into the Super Dispatch dashboard, the columns of cells of that file must be in the following format order of:
- Name, Address, City, State, Zip, Contact, Phone, Email, Fax. Variations of this format will import - such as if Address, City and State are all combined in the same field - as long as they are in this order.
This format order list can also be downloaded and viewed by clicking on the blue link that reads: "following format."
