Driver Notes can be similar to Inspection Notes - but they differ in that they are meant for specific information regarding logistics of the pickup or delivery.
These Notes can be added by clicking the Edit Pickup Information or Edit Delivery Information links that appear in RED LETTERS within the order.
Driver Notes can be added as extensively as is necessary, and these Notes will appear on the electronic bill of lading (eBOL) above the signatures.
Examples of Driver Notes include: 8am-5pm ONLY, Do Not Park In Driveway, Call 1 hour ahead, etc.
Important to Note: While our eBOL system does allow you to add Custom Terms and Conditions at great length, the language you add will appear on page 2 of your BOL when emailed or faxed. However, this "Notes" field on the Dashboard Edit order screen also appears as "Notes" on the app above the green Customer Signature button. These "Notes" also appear on page 1 of every BOL above the Origin or Destination Signature - if applied before pickup or delivery. You can add a specific sentence or two within "Notes" to help clarify an custom Terms and Conditions.
